URAP organization, which ranks world universities on the international platform according to certain criteria and operates within the body of METU, announced the results of the 2021-2022 World Field Rankings, which it realized by taking into account 78 different fields. Gazi University achieved great success by being ranked in 15 different fields. Our University shared the 4th place with Yıldız Technical University among a total of 17 universities in Turkey that were included in the ranking in at least 8 fields.

The table below shows the 2021-2022 World Field Ranking results of Gazi University. The fields in which our university is in the top 3 in Turkey are Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy and Education. In addition, our University has achieved the success of being one of the top 10 universities in Turkey in the 15 fields in which it is ranked. Looking at the world rankings, it is seen that our University is among the top 1000 universities in 14 different fields.

URAP uses data announced by “Clarivate Analytics InCites”, which is accepted as a reliable data source in line with article and citation criteria. Among the 208 higher education institutions operating in Turkey, only 83 universities were successfully ranked in at least 1 field in the URAP criteria.
