2022 university ranking results of SCImago Institutions Ranking, which is one of the Spain-based international ranking institutions that evaluate the basic duties of universities, consisting of research, education and service to the society, in various categories with many performance indicators such as research performance and innovation outputs, have been announced. In 2022, 132 universities from Turkey were evaluated in the ranking of universities using 3 main indicators titled research, innovation and social impact and 17 sub-indicators evaluated under these headings. Gazi University ranked 8th among the evaluated universities (it is in the top 6%). Gazi University was ranked 14th among 125 universities in 2021 (it was in the top 11%). In 2021, our university ranked 523th among 4126 universities worldwide, and 480th among 4364 universities in 2022. SCImago World Institutions Ranking is included in YÖKAK (Higher Education Quality Board) indicators.
